OUR MISSION
To help people to be disciples of Jesus

and to help them make more disciples.

Do you wonder if something is missing in your life?  Do you hope there is more to life than collecting money or status or stuff? Do you long to find a purpose for living? Tired of behaving like a human doing instead of a human being? Are you hungry for meaning in your life?

When people gathered around Jesus, they received strength from him and they were joyful, "praising God." Our churches are called to do this. We gather to participate in the life of Jesus who blessed and healed and made people whole. All our congregations are called to imitate the Lord and to be vehicles of that blessing ourselves.

At best, a Christian community lifts up its members, freeing their gifts, supporting their life, and making them feel as exuberant and alive as the child whom Jesus blesses in scripture. We believe our church is Christ living and visible in the world. This does not mean that our church is perfect. Belonging to any church is an exercise in patience, forbearance, and love.

Yet, at every baptism, our people are asked, "Will you continue in the apostles' teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread and in the prayers?" We believe that we are called to continue in these practices that date back to Jesus.

Is God calling you to share your journey with us? Looking for Jesus? When you visit one of the churches in our parish, you will be a respected and welcome guest. You will not be singled out in any embarrassing way. You will worship God with us and be offered the Body and Blood of Christ in our Eucharist (Mass, Communion, Lord's Supper).  We've even reserved some back pews so that you can check us out first!
